π The 5 Fanum Love Rules for Kids (Ages 8–10)
πͺ¨ EARTH = BODY & HOME
Fanum Rule:
If love makes you feel unsafe in your body or your house,
it's not real love.
How kids feel taxed:
-
Someone hurts you and says “it’s because I love you.”
-
You're made to share things you don’t want to share.
-
You don’t feel safe where you live.
Fanum says:
Love should make your body feel safe, not scared.
A real friend says, “Can I?” before touching or taking.
Draw it: A tree with strong roots, hugging your feet.
π WATER = FEELINGS
Fanum Rule:
If love says you can’t cry or that your feelings are too much,
it’s not real love.
How kids feel taxed:
-
Someone says “stop crying” when you’re sad.
-
You’re told to smile even when something hurts.
-
You're scared to tell the truth about how you feel.
Fanum says:
Love should let your feelings flow, like a river.
You can feel anything. You don’t have to hide it.
Draw it: A wave with a heart floating in it.
π₯ FIRE = CHOICE
Fanum Rule:
If someone tells you who to be or what to do “because they love you,”
they’re taxing your fire.
How kids feel taxed:
-
Adults say “you HAVE to” instead of asking.
-
Friends push you to play a game you don’t like.
-
Someone says, “If you loved me, you would...”
Fanum says:
Love means you still get to choose.
Your “No” is holy. Your “Yes” is yours, not theirs.
Draw it: A candle you hold in your own hands.
π¬️ AIR = VOICE
Fanum Rule:
If love tells you to be quiet when you need to speak,
it's not real love.
How kids feel taxed:
-
Someone says, “Don’t talk about that.”
-
You feel like no one listens to you.
-
You get in trouble for asking questions.
Fanum says:
Your voice matters.
Love lets you speak your truth and still be loved.
Draw it: A cloud with sparkles coming out of it—your words.
π ETHER = SPIRIT (WHO YOU ARE INSIDE)
Fanum Rule:
If love tries to change your true self, or says you owe someone because of the past,
it's taxing your soul.
How kids feel taxed:
-
“You’re weird, be normal.”
-
“You should act more like your brother.”
-
“You owe me because I raised you.”
Fanum says:
You are already enough.
You don’t owe anyone your sparkle.
Real love remembers who you are.
Draw it: A dragon curled around a glowing star.
π THE FANUM VOW FOR KIDS
π I am love. I am safe. I can feel. I can say no. I can speak. I can be me. π
That’s Fanum. That’s real love.
And no one—not even a grown-up—gets to take that away.
